Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her acting career by playing supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt in which she was Willa McPherson, a reporter. She was also in the supporting role on the short-lived series The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. The character was played by Jessie in AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie played the role of Sophie in The NBC show This Is Us. She is a voice actor in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 when her mother and she moved to California [11] where they stayed for a year , before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge was first interested in singing, acting and photography around the age of 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue an acting career.
